Building awareness of the challenges facing Canada’s animal health industry

Public policy is developed in a complex political landscape. In order to ensure that policies under development or review do not have unintended consequences for animal health in Canada, CAHI:

• Builds and maintains relationships with decision makers and regulators both federally and provincially
• Advocates for needed policy changes, and
• Gains insights into regulatory processes.

This in turn allows us to influence public policy, effectively address regulatory challenges, and keep our members informed about legislative developments.
