Parliamentarians, Senators, the Parliamentary Press Gallery, staffers and those with direct ties to the Hill are all invited to submit photos of their beloved pets to compete for the crown of 2026’s Cutest Dog, Cutest Cat or Cutest Other Pet on Parliament Hill.
Deadline to submit: April 23rd at 11:59 PM EST!
Winners to be announced at the annual Pet Gala on June 2nd!

Finalists from previous years are eligible to enter.
Past winners are not eligible to enter the contest.
Touted by Politico as the “Hottest Vote on the Hill”, Canadians have cast a total of 16,400 votes in the three hotly contested categories since the contest launched in 2023.
